United Way of Southwest Georgia is hosting its Youth United 1st Annual Hoodie Ball, on March 1st in southwest Georgia. A twist on the Sneaker Ball, the Hoodie Ball is an expression of identity and culture. Local teens will wear a hoodie that shows off their city/community, college, sports team, nonprofit, identity etc. that represents them, and the cause and communities that they identify with. United Way of Southwest Georgia unites and engages communities to close gaps and open opportunities so everyone can thrive. Specifically, Youth United’s goal is to improve the well-being of our youth and create unique opportunities for them to make an impact in their community.
